On October 1st the Accountancy Software team attended the 2024 QuickBooks Online Ireland Product Showcase in the Conrad Hotel.
We were absolutely delighted to be invited to this event. This event was organised by Intuit to help seasoned QBO users as well as new users navigate the features, and new products and stay up to date with the latest industry developments.
The event speakers emphasised Intuit’s commitment to customer-driven product development. A now complete suite of products – ranging from Ledger, Simple Start, Essentials, Pro and Advnaced – highlights this. From low-complexity cases to larger, more intricate operations, QuickBooks offers flexibility to meet your unique needs.
One of the event’s key highlights was a deep dive into QuickBooks’ expanding app ecosystem. With over 100 app partners, QuickBooks continues to strengthen its position as a comprehensive platform that simplifies accounting workflows. Whether it’s managing e-invoicing or integrating other business tools, QuickBooks’ app ecosystem enhances efficiency and provides new ways to grow your practice.
Experts Clive Hand (Bluestone Accounting) and Kevin Barry (Barry Accountants) shared valuable strategies on how firms can leverage digitization to enhance their efficiency and scalability.
Keeping up with compliance is essential, and we were briefed on the latest regulatory updates across Ireland, the UK, and the EU by Sovos, a QuickBooks partner. These updates will impact how businesses operate in the coming years, making it critical for firms to stay informed and agile.
