The first QuickBooks Online Ireland Roadshow!

We attended the first ever Ireland QuickBooks Online Roadshow!

Intuit hosted the first-ever Roadshow for QuickBooks Online in the Mayson Hotel in Dublin in April 2024, and we attended! 

Hosted by Kevin Barry, Des O’Neill, and Clive Hand, the day was packed with activities and learning. But first, we got to meet other Irish accountants, bookkeepers, and small business owners equally as enthusiastic about QuickBooks Online as we are. Listening to success stories, exchanging tips & tricks and chatting about all things QBO was truly inspiring. The hosts showed us what’s next for QuickBooks Online, particularly for the Ireland market. Everyone who was not a certified ProAdvisor yet got the chance to take the exam in the afternoon alongside their peers.

What we learned about QuickBooks Online for Ireland

From other QuickBooks Online accountants and bookkeepers across Ireland we learned, that clients are eager for more. More features, more third-party connections to improve and streamline processes and more knowledge. 

The Q&A section with Kevin Barry showed how clients different needs have to be catered to in different ways. 

The most exciting news of the day was the announcement of QuickBooks Online Advanced coming to Ireland in 2024! This version of QuickBooks is more robust, has more enhanced features, and allows you to grow with your business. 

Exciting QuickBooks Advaned Features

  1. Batch Transactions: A brilliant tool to save time. This new feature allows you to create several transactions at the same time. Currently, this is only available for invoice transactions. However, we will inform you as soon as this is available for other transactions.
  2. Custom Roles: If you are sharing QBO with your team, you can either assign them a predefined role or you can select what your team member should have access to.
  3. Workflows: Instead of sending out each invoice manually, you can set up a workflow to email invoices automatically. This new feature allows you to focus more on the business and save hours every week. Send payments automatically and set up reminders for invoices, payments, or deposits with a due date. Never forget an invoice again!
  4. Task Manager: This will help you manage, track, and keep up to date with your work. Have a list of tasks ready in QuickBooks Online and tick them off as you complete them. Workflows can automatically create tasks as well!
