System Requirements For Sage 50 Accounts Improvements Winter 2016 (V23.1)

Office integration

Some features of Sage 50 Accounts interact with and requirement install of Microsoft Office.

These features include

• Emailing invoices and reports
• Exporting report and screen lists to excel

The information in the section below relates to the use of these features

Note: Sage Accounts v23.1 is partially compatible with Office 64-bit.

• Office 365 32-bit – desktop version only

Note: To check if it’s the desktop version, Control Panel > Program > Default Programs > Set your default programs > check if Microsoft Outlook is the desktop version.

Note: Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010 are no longer supported by Microsoft, therefore we’re limited in the support we can offer. We can help with basic steps, however if these don’t work, you should upgrade your software to a more recent version.

* Not compatible with Office 2010 32-bit starter edition

The Sage 50c version of Sage 50 Accounts offers additional functionality delivered via Office 365. These features require Office 365 Business Essentials or Business Premium subscriptions.

Internet Connection

A broadband Internet connection is essential to keep your Sage software up to date, and to take full advantage of features such as Sage Drive and synchronise data with Office 365.

• Recommended minimum upload speed: 2Mbps

Sage Intelligence and Sage Contact make of on line features of Office 365 and therefore require the “high speed internet connection” specified by Microsoft for the use of online features.
